Science is an extremely popular and academically successful subject in the School, with many of our A Level students going on to study STEM-related subjects at top universities.
For September 2021, we are seeking to appoint an innovative, well-qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Biology. The successful candidate should be a motivated and self-reflective professional who is capable of working independently and as part of a team. They would be expected to contribute to the delivery of the subject from KS3 up to A Level and participate in Science Club activities.
The Senior School has excellent facilities and we have small classes to enable focus on individual students who ‘have outstanding attitudes to learning and develop excellent relationships with their teachers’ (ISI 2017). A Level and GCSE results are consistently excellent, enabling most students to gain their first choice of university. Our A Level results in 2020 saw 99% grades A*-C, with 71% achieving A*-A, and at GCSE 100% grades 9-4, with 73% achieving 9-7.

Lingfield College is a vibrant and highly successful independent day school for children aged 0–18 years, located in the Surrey countryside on the Kent and Sussex borders, just 30 minutes from London.
