Teacher of Business – Maternity Cover
0.8 Fte - Full Time
We are currently looking to recruit a highly competent teacher of Business Studies, who is able to deliver a range of courses at both KS4 and 5 and including AQA Business. We are looking for a hardworking teacher with excellent subject knowledge and a passion for teaching who can employ a range of teaching styles to develop and motivate students to reach their potential. The successful candidate may also have the opportunity to take on Head of Department responsibilities.
The successful candidate will:
• Have a sound knowledge and understanding of the concepts and skills in his/her specialist subjects and a detailed knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum programmes of study
• Understand for his/her specialist subjects the framework of 11-18 qualifications and the routes of progression through it, together with developments in the 14 – 19 Framework
• Have the potential to teach a second subject.
