Herne Bay High School is a hugely successful school that serves the Herne bay coastal area of north Kent. We have a comprehensive intake and are significantly oversubscribed in all year groups. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, dynamic and passionate teacher of Business Studies to join a forward-thinking and well-established team. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellence in teaching and learning, the ability to challenge and excite students’ minds, and have highly effective communication skills. In 2017/18 our business studies results were one of highest performing subjects at GCSE and the department has an admirable reputation for its consistent drive to raise attainment. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to teach at both KS4 and KS5, which include both vocational (BTEC) as well as GCSE and A level business courses.
