Heathcote School is an 11 – 18 School that has a new Headteacher and a new vision. We are looking for a temporary part time Teacher of Business Studies (Mainscale / UPS) to cover maternity leave and to teach across the ability range to GCSE and A Level from January 2019. You will be working with and supported by an experienced team of strong teachers and leaders. The ability to teach a second Enterprise subject (Economics, Information Technology or Computer Science would be an advantage. The Enterprise Faculty is a very strong department with established links in the Financial Sector; many students successfully secure Higher Level Apprenticeships with these companies and significant numbers read these subjects at University. Results in 2017 at BTEC and A Level were significantly above the national average.
