An opportunity has arisen for an inspirational, dedicated teacher to join our high attaining Business Studies department for a period of maternity cover. We are a growing department with a large number of KS4 and Sixth Form students.
You will teach across Key Stage 4 and 5, be committed to raising attainment and contribute to our positive team culture. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Business Studies.
Dragonfly Multi Academy Trust (MAT) incorporates Mendip Studio School, Writhlington School, a Sixth Form and Peasedown St John Primary School. With the exception of the Primary School, all are located on a large modern state of the art campus that benefits from exceptional media facilities, a 400-seat theatre and a Community Sports Centre. All students and teachers have their own iPad for use in school and at home to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
New staff ideas are encouraged and there are endless opportunities to lead and to contribute to its wide range of extra-curricular activities: a large Combined Cadet Force, international links with China, Tanzania & Rwanda that support the 14-19 curriculum and an internationally recognised orchid project.
