A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and well-qualified Teacher of Chemistry to join the school from 1 September 2019 on a permanent and full time basis. The appointed candidate will be joining a team of 8 enthusiastic and proactive Chemists, with a strong focus on skills development and independent learning. The ability to teach up to and including GCSE and A Level is essential.
Supported by technical staff, a range of new technology is used in the classroom and laboratory for practical work. We teach Edexcel Chemistry at A Level and IGCSE Edexcel at GCSE.
All members of the department play a role in the extensive extra-curricular life of the faculty and our students enjoy participating in a wide range of additional activities, in a stimulating and fun learning environment.
The salary will be commensurate with the post and will depend upon qualifications and experience.
Accommodation may be available for new staff in a local six-unit property.
