Job overview

The Sele School has a vacancy for the post of Teacher of Chemistry.  The post will be focused on delivering A level Chemistry with a secondary role to support the department at KS3 and KS4.


The Sele School is a rapidly growing secondary school. We are looking for a hard working individual who is excited to join a professional environment where excellence is the norm and who will seek to take up all the professional development opportunities the school has to offer.

The learning climate is impeccable and the culture of driving up standards is upheld by all who attend The Sele School. We offer our staff a comprehensive CPD programme with opportunities to visit our partner schools such as The Perse School in Cambridge. We are also embarking on a 5 year ICT strategy to incorporate VR into the classroom so that abstract and complex structures can be experienced by our students using immersive educational tools.
