Box Hill School is a co-educational community of 425 girls and boys aged 11 to 18, whose educational ideals and practice are designed to get the best out of each student. The school follows the philosophy of Kurt Hahn, founder of Gordonstoun in Scotland: while placing academic work at the heart of a school, Hahn stressed the importance of an all-round education as a preparation for life.  

We are looking for a part time (50%) teacher of Computer Science with the successful applicant having strong subject knowledge of the theory of Computer Science while at the same time be comfortable teaching programming skills from novice level all the way up to A Level in preparation for online coding papers that have been introduced into this year’s specification. 

The successful applicant will have a good classroom manner while being able to maintain discipline, and will also be involved in the extensive extra-curricular life at our busy Boarding and day school.
