We work closely with King’s Wimbledon to provide a well-structured education that aims to instil a love of learning, creativity and interdependence in our students. Our vision is to engage, inspire and extend our students. We want our alumni to be successful in their own ways. We do this with the values of kindness, good manners and wisdom in a friendly, welcoming and attractive environment.

We are looking for outstanding teachers who embody our values, can inspire students and who understand the values of a UK-style education.

We really value our teachers and we recruit the best. To help us do this, we offer an excellent package of international benefits including annual return flights, medical insurance, housing and a salary scale matched to the scale in King’s College School, Wimbledon.

The position:

From August 2020, the school wishes to appoint a well-qualified computing teacher to set up, run and deliver the computing curriculum from early years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 initially. They will also support whole-school events and have a role in the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities from early years upwards.

Computing is a key part of the curriculum and is essential to building problem-solving skills and analytical thinking. However, opportunities for robotics and linking computing to STEM are also very important to us and we are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference both within and outside the classroom.

The setting-up environment has a large number of opportunities for the right candidate as you will be involved with designing and implementing a curriculum, ordering the resources, designing house and school events, such as robotics competitions, and having an input into co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

If you value colleagues who will support you, are excited by a start-up environment in which we all work hard for each other and have a nurturing approach to education, we would welcome you to apply for a position with us.
