We seek to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Teacher of Computing, ICT & Creative i-Media. The ideal candidate for this vacancy will be highly motivated and committed to delivering engaging and inspiring computing lessons. Department information

The department is completely committed to excellence and are dedicated to offering students a positive and enriching experience in Computing & ICT through a challenging and inspiring curriculum. We aim to develop students’ computational thinking, logical thinking and the ability to problem solve.

All schemes of work and assessments are developed collaboratively across our multi-academy trust and are shared in centralised electronic folders. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to further develop these resources. The computing department enjoy first class teaching facilities, with a mixture of PC and Mac suites. Each classroom is also equipped with a modern electronic lectern with an inbuilt networked PC and visualizer, which is connected to an interactive whiteboard with inbuilt audio speakers. 

All KS3 students enjoy a dedicated hour of computing per week. At KS4 students can opt for OCR GCSE computing or Creative i-Media. We also offer A-level computing, with a high percentage of students going on to pursue computing courses at university.
