The Role

We need to appoint an exceptional Food Preparation and Nutrition Teacher to start at the academy in January 2019 for maternity cover. You will play a key role in the delivery of Food Preparation and Nutrition to key stage 3 and key stage 4 cohorts. 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

· Developing students’ Knowledge, understanding and practical experience through the delivery of the new GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition specification. 

· Responsible for weekly food ordering and preparation of lessons. 

· Establish a positive working environment for all students. 

· Work with in a dynamic, innovate and fast paced department.

Our Department

Our successful Food and Nutrition course is an integral part of a highly successful Design and Technology team. The department is driven and focused on underpinning the learning with the ever changing modern world and foreseeable future of industrial design and engineering. As a core subject at KS4 we are a well-respected and resourced department
