Do you have a background in the Creative industries; possess strong design, engineering or systems (electronics) credentials and want to teach in an equally creative and innovative department?
Our Design Department has three multi-material workshops and two studios, including generous IT facilities and CADCAM equipment (two laser cutters, four FDM 3D Printers and 1 resin printer), as well as ample ‘traditional’ equipment.
Working in a team that currently consists of five full time specialists and a full time technician, you will possess the qualifications, skills and personality to help drive forward classroom teaching and an extensive extra-curricular activities programme which includes Silversmithing, Design Ventura and F1 in Schools.
The role would suit someone seeking further experience or an NQT (statutory induction provided).
We offer a generous teaching pay scale, significantly above that of the maintained sector.
