From September 2018, the Governing Body would like to appoint an inspirational and dynamic Teacher of Design Technology. Demonstrating a commitment to high standards of learning, the successful candidate will be expected to make a full contribution to the life of the school.
The successful candidate will:
· ensure that practices in the area are safe and adhere fully to all health and safety guidelines
· assist with designing SEARCH days for each year group
· assist with developing highly engaging enrichment within all DT subjects
· contribute to whole school learning and forge cross-curricular links
· Be able to use ICT competently to enhance children's learning
· Be adaptable and open-minded
· Be prepared to contribute to the wider life of the school.

Support and development:
At Heartlands, we use School IP to track and support training and ongoing CPD. Depending on your need and level of experience, you will be placed on a training pathway.
The CPD plan is released in September each year and includes a range of internal training sessions before and after school as well as on inset days.
