The Land Based Industries Department are looking for a highly motivated Dog Grooming Teacher whose principle responsibility will be to deliver and assess the classroom based dog grooming learning at levels 2 and 3 at Barnsley College’s Wigfield Farm Campus.

£12.31 per hour

Wigfield Farm is set in the Worsbrough Country Park area of Barnsley, the farm has three main functions:

• A base for Barnsley College Animal Management and Horticulture courses

• A working farm producing livestock

• An Open Farm and Visitors Centre accessible to the local and wider community

This is a busy and varied post and the successful applicant will play an integral role in the design and development of the dog grooming provision at Wigfield Farm and support the delivery of grooming qualifications at the campus.  

A recognised, proven track record of delivering outstanding dog grooming is essential.
