Job overview

We are an over-subscribed 11-19 girls’ school in South London and part of the Manor Trust family of schools.  It is a unique community where all students and staff are valued as individuals. We draw strength from our diversity and take pride in our cultural richness and utilise both in preparing students to embrace their places in the local and global communities.

We are seeking a teacher of Economics and Business Studies with excellent subject knowledge and an exciting approach to join our Computing and Life Sciences faculty.   With a dynamic teaching style that engages students they will work with the other members of the department to maintain a focus on progress, teaching and learning and raising achievement and enhance the extra-curricular activities offered.

Candidates must be able to teach KS4 Economics (OCR) and KS5 Economics (macro economics) and Business (AQA).  The ability to teach Computing and ICT to KS3 would be desirable.

New staff follow an established induction programme while more experienced staff are able to join our middle leadership and senior leadership training programmes. Many among our teaching staff choose to enrol in our school-based MA programme. Run in conjunction with St Mary's University.

The college is a member of PiXL and also part of the Change Through Learning Teaching School Alliance, a diverse yet cohesive collaboration of schools from the local area.
