The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and well-qualified graduate teacher of Economics to this selective school - four times judged OUTSTANDING by OFSTED and found to be outstanding in a Diocesan Inspection in December 2018.

The successful candidate will join a vibrant and thriving Social Sciences Department and will teach Year 12 and 13 A Level Economics.

A Level Economics is well established and examination results are very good.  This post would ideally suit someone passionate about their subject and eager to teach to the highest level.  Students are highly-motivated and intelligent.  Behaviour is outstanding in this school which is committed to the ideals of Catholic education and enables its students to thrive and to fulfil their dreams for the future.

About St Michael's Catholic Grammar School

St Michael’s is a girls-only (before sixth form), selective grammar, Roman Catholic secondary school with sixth form situated in North Finchley, London. It is a voluntary-aided state school that is part of the Archdiocese of Westminster. A smaller than average school, it will provide 920 places for secondary and sixth form students, when fully subscribed.

The school was established in 1908, became a Voluntary Aided Grammar School in 1958 and began to include boys in its sixth form in September 2009.
