Required from September 2021

Prior Park College is looking to appoint a knowledgeable, creative and passionate Economics teacher to join an innovative and forward thinking department. Working in an IT focused department, you will be teaching A-level Economics in one of the country's leading independent schools.

This post is suitable either for an experienced teacher, a newly qualified teacher or, dependent on qualifications, someone wishing to undertake a PGCE whilst beginning their teaching. NQTs can benefit from our structured, recognised induction and mentoring programme.

The successful candidate will possess excellent subject knowledge and be able to inspire and communicate with students using modern ICT technology. An ability to teach or a desire to learn to teach Business at GCSE, A Level or BTEC level 3 would be a distinct advantage. A willingness to become fully involved with the wider extra-curricular life of the school is essential.
