Townley Grammar School is one of the top 100 schools in the country. We are a multicultural girls' selective school and one of the top performing schools in Bexley. We are looking for qualified teacher to join an outstanding department, with applications from NQTs also welcome. Economics is a popular subject at Advanced Level, with approximately 140 currently studying the subject in the Sixth Form.
The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher of economics, who is passionate about the subject, teaching and learning, and has the ability to inspire and enthuse both students in the sixth form, and the school community.

We have ten CPD days over the academic year, weekly bespoke CPD for staff after an early end to the school day on Monday as well as a two-week half term in October. We offer a full and robust induction programme for all new members of staff as part of the school’s Staff Development Programme with further support for staff new to the teaching profession. We encourage professional development across the school including opportunities to share ideas for improving teaching and learning.
