An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher of Economics to join our high-achieving department. Economics is a popular subject with 4 A level classes across the Sixth Form and 5 GCSE classes at Key Stage 4. A number of students go on to study Economics at degree level.
Parmiter’s is an exceptional school in which to teach, with highly positive and supportive relationships between the staff and students. Parmiter’s coordinates Teacher Training for the Herts and Bucks Teaching School Alliance and offers a robust induction programme complimented by a bespoke CPD programme supporting colleagues at all stages of their careers. We are able to support the completion of an MA for candidates with the appropriate credits. Our admissions policy prioritises children of staff.
Applications are equally welcome from experienced and newly qualified teachers. NQTs are offered the option of a 1st July start date and we have an active NQT programme to support and develop new teachers. Candidates are welcome to visit the school informally prior to application.

Parmiter's School relocated to the current 60 acre rural Hertfordshire site from London's East End in 1977. The site is currently undergoing a period of development and has recently opened a new £4m state of the art Science facility. The school enjoys a good reputation for traditional values and academic achievement whilst maintaining a true family feel among staff and students.
Experienced teachers, Early Careers Teachers and support staff benefit from a supportive leadership team who focus on personal development and wellbeing as a priority. Staff benefit from complimentary use of a new Fitness Suite facility.
Parmiter's leads the Watford Partnership for Teacher Training in collaboration with 11 local schools, the University of Hertfordshire and Herts for Learning.
The school is consistently over subscribed for Year 7 and Sixth Form entry. Children of staff are a priority for admission.
