Are you an excellent teacher of English and Media looking for a new challenge in a popular School with relevant continuous professional development?   

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Teacher of English and Media to join our outstanding English and Media Departments. 

The role is temporary for 2 terms up until March 2019. We are looking for someone with strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm who has the ability to teach across both subjects and preferably has knowledge of GCSE and A Level Media Studies and GCSE English Language and Literature.  

The successful candidate will:

Carshalton High School for Girls is a highly successful, popular 11 to 18 comprehensive school.  There are 1450 students on roll, over 80 teaching staff and a number of support staff who make a major contribution to the daily smooth running of the school.  Staff work as a cohesive team setting the highest professional standards as an example to the students.  Students enjoy positive and co-operative relationships with staff and it is very rare if an external visitor to the school does not comment on the high calibre of the students and the positive working environment.  We are part of the Girls’ Learning Trust.
