A good level of literary knowledge is essential. The successful candidate will relish the opportunities of working within a successful and experienced Department which welcomes new ideas and approaches to the subject. You will be required to maintain the high academic standards of the department and popularity of the subject by adopting a dynamic approach in the classroom and contributing to new initiatives.
This position would suit a teacher at any stage of their career, including NQT. There is a competitive salary scale, for which the successful candidate would be placed at the appropriate point on this scale with reference to their experience and qualifications. Accommodation may also be available.
