Energy Coast UTC is an outstanding 14–19 college created through a partnership between industry and education. Our approach to the curriculum, grounded in traditional values, provide a great foundation for students’ futures. We are a college that delivers engineering excellence through innovative, technically-focused education. Our industry partners include: NDA, Sellafield Ltd, Morgan Sindall, the University or Cumbria, the Royal Navy and the National Nuclear Laboratory. From September 2019, our Engineering and Technology provision will be taught in state-of-the-art classrooms.
We seek to appoint an enthusiastic, committed and inspirational specialist Teacher of English to join a dedicated team. The suitable candidate will have a good track record of excellent classroom practice and sustained added value outcomes for student, or be an NQT with the potential to achieve such results. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach English across the differing ability KS4 classes, with the possibility of some A level teaching also. We are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for students, building on the success of our summer 2019 results.
The vacancy can be available on either a part time basis as a potential job share, up to full time. Start date of January 2020, or sooner if available.
