Job overview

Are you ready for a new challenge?

We are a small, friendly school set in the heart of the community.  We have been through a period of rapid and exciting change, rated a ‘Good’ school by OFSTED and our GCSE results have increased dramatically. We are one of the first two Studio Schools in the country with an age range of 11-19.

This is an exciting and challenging post where you will have the opportunity to teach small classes up to KS5. You will have the prospect to work with like-minded teachers within a supportive team. We have an enthusiastic staff who are currently engaged in working with our partner Junior and Infant schools as a Hard Federation to ensure curriculum continuity and raise levels of attainment on entry.

If you:

  • are passionate about education and inspiring our young people
  • like the idea of working with a group of hardworking and committed professionals
  • are prepared to challenge traditional models of education
  • are keen to join a highly motivated and forward-looking school

then this may be the job you are looking for.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check. A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.

We are seeking an ambitious and inspirational classroom practitioner with the necessary skills to have a real impact upon teaching at Netherhall Learning Campus High School.

For more information and a chance to look around the school and talk to key staff, please contact Michael Kent, Principal on 01484 382140. For more information about the school please go to our website www.nlconline.org.uk
