Are you an exceptional English teacher in search of a school where you can really flourish and make a difference? We have a new opportunity at Rosebery school to join our supportive and forward thinking team from January 2018 to cover maternity leave.  The post is suitable for both NQTs and experienced teachers.

Rosebery School is an Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' popular and over-subscribed 11-18 comprehensive girls’ school with 1470 students, including 280 in the Sixth Form. The English Department has a strong team of thirteen teachers, a mix of full and part time staff, led by the Head of Department.  The English Department is well resourced and housed in the upper floor of a spacious building where we believe we have created a thriving learning environment.  KS3 have three one-hour lessons a week and KS4 have four, following common schemes of work which are regularly revised in line with current pedagogical theory.  Teaching is in mixed ability tutor groups in Years 7 and 8 and broad setting from Year 9 onwards.
