Are you an outstanding teacher of English who is looking to join a highly effective and motivated team? 

This post is for Maternity cover- 12 months starting April 2018.

The CTC Kingshurst Academy is looking to appoint an outstanding and ambitious classroom teacher with the ability to enthuse and inspire students. The English faculty are a very successful, well-established and motivated team that have achieved outcomes for English Language and English Literature at KS4 that were significantly above national averages in 2016. The faculty, which includes a mix of experienced and newly qualified teachers, is growing significantly as a result of several successful promotions, and is keen to welcome excellent and ambitious practitioners to the team. 

The successful applicants will have a drive to improve student engagement and progress. They will also be expected to contribute to the continued development of faculty learning and teaching strategies and will demonstrate a passion for teaching for understanding.
