Teacher of English
(Full time)
We are looking for a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of English to join our successful department. This full-time job within the English and Drama Department arises from the increase in pupil numbers.
Applications will be welcomed from candidates who can teach English to the full range of abilities and age groups up to, and including A level. An ability to teach Drama at GCSE level would also be an advantage but is not essential. The job is suitable for either someone looking for their first post as an NQT, or someone more experienced than that: the key is the right person who has the enthusiasm and ability. The successful candidate will be an inspirational subject teacher, with drive, initiative and good communication skills.
Wrekin College is a busy school set within its own attractive and spacious grounds. A willingness to be fully involved in the school’s co-curricular programme and the life of the school is important.
Accommodation may be available for the successful candidate.
Application forms and further details of the post are available from www.wrekincollege.com, the Headmaster’s PA on 01952 265602 or by e-mail from headmaster@wrekincollege.com. The completed forms with full curriculum vitae and letter of application should be sent to hr@wrekincollege.com by Midday on Thursday 22nd March 2018. Interviews will be held on Monday 26th March.
