Job overview

English at St John’s is a high performing subject at all key stages.   Successful applicants will have a clear focus on raising the achievements of all students. You should ideally be able to teach English Language and Literature up to and including A Level, in a vibrant and supportive environment. You will join a department which has celebrated many years of exam success and prides itself on expecting the very highest standards of achievement from its students whilst nurturing and supporting all.
