We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative ESOL teacher who will prepare our students for accredited ESOL qualifications from Entry 1 to Level 2. Working with students of mixed level and age, our classes are for 16-19 year olds, mainly asylum seekers and refugees, as well as students from other backgrounds.

The BHASVIC Corporation has adopted the conditions of service and salary scales applicable to sixth form colleges. The current full-time salary range for qualified teachers is £24,765 - £40,418 per annum (depending upon qualifications and  experience). This will be pro rata depending on your FTE (12 contact hours per week).

Fixed term position (maternity cover) until March 2022 or the return of the current post holder, if earlier. Hours will be worked across Monday to Thursday.
