Teacher of Female PE & Dance (maternity cover)

We are seeking an outstanding and enthusiastic Teacher of Female PE and Dance for a fixed term maternity cover. The position would be available from May 2021 or sooner. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about Physical Education and Dance and who is committed to securing excellent outcomes for children of all abilities. A qualification in teaching trampoline would be highly desirable, but not essential.

PE and Dance are taught to all years and is a popular GCSE option. There is an extensive extra-curricular programme including the Young Leaders Award and numerous other leadership schemes for students alongside borough, regional and national competitions.

Langdon Park is an oversubscribed mixed, multicultural and fully comprehensive school. Our indoor facilities include a sports hall, gymnasium, dance studio and fitness suites. Outdoor facilities are all floodlit and include 6 tennis courts, a full-size football pitch, a 200m four lane athletics track and a multi-use games area with 6 netball courts.
