We require, from 1st September 2023 or earlier, if possible, a motivated, committed and dynamic teacher to join this lively and high performing 11-18 Foundation School and subject area. We expect you will be able to teach KS3, GCSE Food and Nutrition across the whole ability range. KS5 Food Science may also be available for a suitable candidate now or in the future. The post is permanent, and we welcome applications from early career teachers (ECTs) as well as highly experienced (UPS) teachers.

About Bishop Heber High School

Bishop Heber High School is a mixed, non-denominational comprehensive school with a sixth form, there are 1280 students on roll aged 11-18. It is situated in the picturesque village of Malpas. The school has an enviable reputation for excellence both within its catchment area and far beyond. The school was founded in 1960.

Location

Malpas is a large village placed deep in the south Cheshire countryside. There are several pubs in the village as well as good quality local shopping. Malpas also hosts a regular Farmers’ Market. If you are looking to explore, Malpas is a great base for sightseeing with Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales just a stone’s throw away. Practically on your doorstep is the famous city of Chester, you can reach the city in 30 minutes and explore all the historic sites.
