Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Teacher of Food Preparation and Nutrition  to join our successful supply teaching team and to work in a local secondary school in Bury. This is a full-time secondary teaching role, which will commence in February until June.


The role

The desired Food Preparation and Nutrition Teacher will be working in a Design Technology Department, with a wide range of ability levels. This role would be suitable for both NQTs and experienced Teachers, but the school would ideally like someone who has recently taught in Food Preparation and Nutrition.

This is an improving school which has high standards and expects the best provision for the children under its care. It is led by strong SLT and has the department always work with the childrens best interests at heart. 


Requirements

To be considered for the position of Food Preparation and Nutrition Teacher, you will:


• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching Food Preparation and Nutrition at both KS3 and KS4 level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
