Job overview

Based at Clayton Hall Academy TMS/UPS 1.0 FTE, Permanent

Clayton Hall Academy, part of the United Endeavour Trust, is a successful school set in beautiful grounds in the suburbs of Newcastle under Lyme. We are a ‘good school’ (Ofsted 2013) with a history of high achievement and a mission to become outstanding.

The MFL department is an excellent one. It has enjoyed some good examination results at GCSE in recent years and is both innovative and forward thinking. The staff in the department work very hard and our Languages department enjoys a first class reputation with a very high profile within the school. It is liked by the parents not only for its high quality teaching but also for the many extra-curricular opportunities it provides for the students.

The department is a vibrant one and the staff are very committed both to their department and to the school and they exhibit the highest levels of professionalism. They rightly deserve their prominent position both within and outside the school.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a French or German teacher to join a dedicated and committed team and further develop your abilities and knowledge within a supportive environment. As part of a growing multi-academy trust we can also offer candidates excellent potential career prospects.

We are proud of our school and our professional staff would be pleased to welcome you on an informal visit.
