Do you think that geography is the gateway to all other subjects?  Do you think that geography is the best subject on the curriculum? Do you want to make sure that students share this passion for your subject?  If so you will fit in to our department.

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher who can convey their passion for geography to the students in the school.  The uptake of geography at GCSE is over 65% of the cohort each year with ever-increasing numbers at GCSE.  As part of the Humanities team, you will be expected to teach geography across all key stages and also support history and RE at Keystage 3.  

The person appointed will be well supported through our teaching and learning coach, a well-established professional studies programme and through a comprehensive induction process.  So if you feel you do not have the right skill yet then we will get you there, whether that’s in subject knowledge, classroom management or time management, we will support you.  For further information about the school please visit our website www.beaconsfield.sch.uk  the vacancy section can be found under joining us.
