Evgeny Primakov Gymnasium is an outstanding bilingual Gymnasium in Moscow of c.200 children (aged 3-6) in pre-school and c.600 students in Primary, Secondary and High School departments.

A teacher of Geography will be teaching to the secondary school pupils aged 11-14.
The students speak English as their second language. Lessons need to be interactive, engaging and student-centered (teacher talking time to be followed).
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Geography or BA in Education with Geography focus
- Master's or higher degree is desirable
- EFL qualifications TEFL/TESOL
- 3+ years of teaching experience working in an international setting with non-native level speakers is essential

- To teach Country Study classes to the secondary school pupils aged 11-14
- To focus on the interaction of different cultural and natural geofactors in a specific land or landscape
- To plan, prepare and deliver high quality lessons
- To evaluate children's performance and growth in knowledge
- To arrange field trips and research projects
- To use visual materials and technology to assist children in learning subject related topics
- To be a positive member of the school community
- To attend parent meetings and other school events

About Evgeny Primakov School
Evgeny Primakov School was launched in Moscow in September 2017. Our school welcomed 700 gifted and talented students from 3 years of age to 17 years of age. About the academic program
Students at Evgeny Primakov Gymnasium will study subjects in both Russian and English languages. The latter will be represented by the subjects of Drama, Global Perspectives, Literature, Art & Design, English as a Second Language (ESL), Music and Physical Education. These subjects will be taught by professional Primary and Secondary teachers, experienced in teaching non-native students in an international setting. The goal of the academic year 2021-2022 is to continue developing fluency in English (that is why ESL will be taught across all age groups throughout the year) and to introduce students to the best practices of hands-on and practical learning.
