Required for September 2018, a dedicated teacher to join an ambitious Humanities Faculty. 

A keen subject specialist, you will be able to contribute to the department and be passionate about giving our students the best classroom experiences to enhance their learning.  Our exam boards are: 

A Level - Edexcel

GCSE -   Edexcel B  

We are looking for a colleague with the ability to maintain and develop our high standards and to provide support, stretch and challenge for all our learners.

Shenfield High School achieved a “GOOD” rating in its Ofsted inspection in November 2014.  We are a co-educational 11-18 academy school with a commitment to high standards, a holistic approach, student wellbeing and learning for life.  We expect all staff to share this philosophy.  Shenfield is conveniently and pleasantly situated close to a mainline station into London Liverpool Street, the towns of Brentwood and Billericay and to the Essex countryside.

Shenfield High School is a co-educational, non-denominational 11-18 secondary school located in Brentwood, Essex. At its most recent inspection there were 1,145 students aged 11-18 on the school roll, 350 of whom studied in the sixth form. The area of Shenfield has a population of 5,500 and is serviced by a station on the Liverpool Street Line, which will be the final stop on the Crossrail Elizabeth Line. 

Shenfield High School was opened in 1962 and converted to academy status in 2012. 

The school is underpinned by its philosophy of "Learning for Life" and promotes Learning, Respoect, Responsibility, Security, community & Success as its key values.
