This role is suitable for either an experienced practitioner, where a departmental responsibility may be available for the right applicant, or a newly qualified teacher.
Geography is a strong and thriving department, staffed by a committed, collaborative and supportive team. As a result it is a popular subject choice amongst our students at Key Stage 4 and 5 and our examination results are well above national averages. In summer 2018 94% of the Year 11 cohort achieved grades 9 – 4, including 55% who achieved grade 7 or above. At ‘A’ Level, 90% of students achieved A*-C grades including 67% who achieved A*-B.
