Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are Qualified Teacher Status and experience of teaching MFL to at least GCSE level.


September 2020 – April 2021 


Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a part-time teacher of Modern Foreign Languages, specialising in German, for a long term supply assignment at a forward thinking school in Chesterfield. The position will require the teacher to plan and deliver engaging lesson content to KS3 and KS4 students.


The role

The role is a Maternity cover for during of the Autumn and Spring terms, with potential to extend dependant on the needs of the school. The role will require the desired MFL teacher to plan and mark across Key Stages 3 and 4. 


The role is part time, 3 days per week, with the school currently able to be flexible over the agreed working days. Whilst the school are ideally looking for a German specialist, the timetable will also include some Spanish cover, therefore the ability to teach Spanish to at least Key Stage 3 is essential.

Based in Chesterfield with an Ofsted rating of ‘Good’, the school are ideally looking for people with a proven track record of delivering excellent teaching and learning, however teachers at the start of their career are also encouraged to apply.


Requirements

To be considered for the MFL Teacher position, you will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). 

• Have experience teaching MFL up to GCSE level.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Secondary Teachers.

• Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
