Teacher of Girls PE (Maternity Cover)

We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and proactive teacher of girls PE to join our team to cover a Maternity Leave.  We are seeking an individual to engage our students through their enthusiasm and passion for the subject.  We want someone who enjoys working with young people, who believes it is a privilege to be a part of their journey into adulthood, and who understands the challenges faced by young people growing up in today's world.

This is a key time to join Spen Valley High School as we build upon our many strengths and develop a truly coherent provision for our students. You will work alongside a team of highly professional & dedicated staff who are welcoming, courageous, open-minded and supportive. It is a particularly exciting time to join the school as we embed our new curriculum and continue on our journey to be a Trauma Informed school. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of this transformational change and we are looking for someone who is creative, dynamic, and willing to embrace this challenge head on.
