Teacher of Health and Social Care

We are looking for a dynamic, inspirational, motivated Teacher of Health and Social Care who will make the subject exciting and stimulate students’ interest and enthusiasm in their studies. We pride ourselves on the quality of teaching and learning, and the student centred focus we have as a team.

You will work within the hugely popular Social Sciences department where you may be expected to teach across the following courses: Health and Social Care Diploma/Extended Diploma. You will join a team of 10 teachers committed to maximizing student potential, A level Sociology is the other subject taught within the department. Your teaching should be of high quality and reflected in your students results. You should be committed to developing active and innovative approaches to learning, both inside and outside the classroom.

Please note that this role is likely to include online/remote teaching and learning. Applications from NQTs will be considered.

We would advise you that posts advertised to start in September 2021 actually commence with student enrolment on 31 August 2021. Teaching staff are required to work this day but should you have an existing commitment, please make this clear on your application and we will honour it.
