Job overview

We wish to recruit a casual teacher of Health & Social Care to cover a period of 6 weeks teaching cover.

We seek an experienced Health and Social Care professional to teach on our Level 3 vocational courses, which range from Certificates to the full Extended Diploma on the OCR Camtech specifications. We anticipate needing 6 weeks teaching cover during the autumn term in the 2018 – 2019 academic year and are seeking to make a temporary appointment to cover this vacancy.  Students study the smaller courses alongside other vocational options and/or A Levels, whilst students on the Extended Diploma have a choice of pathways; one aimed at careers in nursing and midwifery, and one which is suitable for students aiming to progress into careers such as primary teaching and social work.   

The courses offered are:  Cambridge Technical Certificate and Extended Certificate in Health and Social Care  L3 Cambridge Technical Foundation Diploma and Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care   Courses offered by the team are amongst the most popular in the college and it is envisaged that student numbers will expand/increase in the next academic year.  The staff work very closely together and the successful applicant would be expected to work as an enthusiastic team member to meet and exceed objectives.
