We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic teacher to join our thriving and supportive History department.
This is an exciting opportunity for either an NQT or an experienced teacher who is committed to enabling every student to achieve the very best they can and is dedicated to their own professional development.
Applicants must possess graduate subject knowledge and have high expectations. The ability to teach across the age range including A Level would be desirable as would the ability to offer another humanities subject.
History is taught from Key Stages 3 to 5; it is consistently one of the most popular choices for students both at GCSE and A Level. Many students continue to study History at University. We have a strong tradition of providing many extracurricular opportunities for students including overseas visits to Belgium, France and Germany and all members of staff make valuable contributions to this aspect of the department’s work.
