We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of History to join King’s Norton Boys’ School as we continue on our journey towards becoming Outstanding. This post is particularly suitable for NQTs but more experienced teachers are welcome to apply 

We are looking for a dynamic and caring individual who is able to teach History to GCSE standard and possibly other humanities subjects to Key Stage 3. We are looking for someone with the potential to develop excellent pedagogical skills that can enable our boys to excel. History is a popular subject and results are Good and improving. You will benefit from the support of both your department and our excellent pastoral team who have high expectations and promote positive behaviour and strict but caring ethos. 

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious candidate as we build on our upward trajectory. A culture that 'we are all learners' exists throughout the school. Each and every staff member is focused on continuous improvement and we work collaboratively to support one another. We pride ourselves on the opportunities we provide for staff to develop as practitioners and leaders.
