Are you a passionate historian who enjoys sharing your strong subject knowledge with able and enthusiastic students? Then this role is for you. 

We are looking for a first-class teacher to join our vibrant and exceptional History department on a part-time basis covering a period of maternity leave.  The successful applicant will be able to teach throughout the School, up to and including A level and Oxbridge entry.  Experience and willingness to teach a variety of topics at GCSE and A Level will be a distinct advantage, as will an ability to enthuse lower school pupils through engaging and thought-provoking lessons. Experienced teachers and NQTs are welcome to apply.  

This role also provides the opportunity to be involved in the co-curricular life of the School. Depending on your area/s of interest, the co-curricular options include Senior and Junior History Society, CCF, DofE and much more. 

Staff are remunerated through the Kingston Grammar School salary scale, which tracks significantly above the national scale for teachers.
