Long Field Academy is a small, vibrant and friendly community secondary school, located  in the market town of Melton Mowbray, just 17 miles from both Nottingham and Leicester.  Ours is a modern and forward-thinking school which embraces new opportunities within teaching and learning as well as offering a wealth of excellent extracurricular opportunities, some of which are unique to our school.

We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and dedicated teacher of History to start in January 2022. The ideal candidate will be able to operate within a dynamic and forward thinking team who are focused on developing exciting and engaging learning experiences for students across the 11-16 age range. At GCSE we teach EdExcel History with units of Medicine through time; Elizabethan England; American West & Weimar Nazi Germany.

SAT is an educational charity, Multi-Academy Trust and Sponsor of Academies. We have approaching 16000 children and young people in our academies and employ more than 2200 teachers, leaders and educational support professionals across the East Midlands.
