Are you an outstanding teacher of History with the passion and motivation to inspire young people? Do you have the ability to deliver high quality learning experiences?
The Ferrers School is a popular, oversubscribed school and we are looking for a passionate and energetic teacher who can work with us to continually improve and so move from ‘good to great’.
This is a great opportunity for an excellent History Teacher or NQT to develop their career in a thriving and highly supportive environment. History is a consistently popular subject option choice at both GCSE and A level and has been very successful in recent years. We are looking for a great teacher who will be able to make a real contribution to continuing this success. You will be expected to teach the full age and ability range, up to KS4. A willingness to teach Philosophy and Ethics would be an advantage. We are fully committed to the professional development of all our staff.
Visits to the school are welcomed. If you would like to discuss the role or have any questions, please contact Mrs Alison Davies, PA to the Head Teacher, on 01933 313411 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Details of the post and an application form can be found on our website:
Closing date: 9.00am Friday, 17th November 2017

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. All posts will be subject to an enhanced DBS, medical and reference checks.
