Teacher of History

Teacher of History
Required full-time from September 2021
Churchmead is a mixed, 11-16 Church of England School welcoming students of all faiths, situated on a 23-acre green belt site in the picturesque Thames side village of Datchet near Windsor in Berkshire.
We are a comparatively small secondary school in which every student is known as an individual. Our values of Courage, Compassion and Commitment are at the heart of the school. Churchmead is committed to becoming an outstanding school following our most recent inspection in which all areas were judged as good.
This is a new post, created at the time of expansion. We are looking for an exceptional teacher to join our school as a Teacher of History. If you are able to offer a second subject, this would be an advantage.
If you believe you have the vision and commitment to work at a school which sets consistently high standards for yourself and your students, please do contact us. The successful candidate will be a talented committed teacher and would be joining a department with a proven track record of results. Our teachers contribute fully to the rich extra-curricular programme that the school provides.
To be considered for any post you will also need to hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Due to the current situation, we are unable to offer school visits but please contact us if you wish to have an informal phone discussion with the Headteacher.
Please visit our website, www.churchmead.org for our Application Pack. For further details, please contact Mrs D Naji, Churchmead C of E School, Priory Way, Datchet, Berkshire, SL3 9JQ
