Kolej Tuanku Ja’afar (KTJ) is a thriving international day and boarding school set in beautiful Malaysian countryside, an hour’s drive south of Kuala Lumpur. The School was established in 1991 as a charity and now caters for more than 1,000 students aged 3 to 19.
We are seeking an inspirational and highly motivated teacher to join our thriving and successful Humanities faculty. All students study our own, bespoke curriculum for Geography and History at KS 3 and then may choose to study either of both of these subjects at IGCSE and A level following the CIE curriculum. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning and be able to teach both Geography and History at KS3 and at least one of these subjects to A level. He/she will be expected to make good use of technology and other innovative resources in his/her teaching and to convey a real enthusiasm for the subject.
KTJ is a friendly and supportive environment for students and staff alike. More information on the School and conditions for teachers can be found in our publication, International Staff Recruitment Brochure (available on the vacancies page of our website).
The closing date for applications is 7 March, 2021. Applications should be made to the HR Manager, at the school address or via email to email@example.com and marked ‘private and confidential’. Please submit a cover letter and a completed application form which is available on our website www.ktj.edu.my, including contact details of three referees, one of whom should be your current employer. Applications will only be considered if a completed application form has been submitted.
