The Role

Wootton Park School is seeking to appoint a talented  Part Time Teacher of Humanities (Maternity Cover with possibility of being permanent). This is a  rewarding and important position within our growing school. A second subject would be desirable.

We have recently moved into our brand new £20 million state-of-the-art school building. As of September 2021, we will have 900 learners on roll  and will continue to grow each year until we reach our full capacity of 1260. In September 2021 we will open our sixth form.

In July 2019 we were judged to be outstanding in every category by Ofsted. Ofsted inspectors noted that “The quality of teaching, learning and assessment is of a consistently high quality” , “Achievement is outstanding in the early years and at key stages 1 and 3" ," The behaviour of pupils is outstanding"  and  "Staff morale is exceptionally high" . 

We have also achieved the Quality Inclusion Mark and the Wellbeing Award for Schools.
