The Academy of St Nicholas is an 11-18 Academy with nearly 900 students on roll. Applications are invited for an enthusiastic and ambitious Teacher of ICT & Computer Science.

As Teacher of ICT & Computer Science, you work closely with the Head of Department in continuing to improve exam attainment at GCSE and A’ level. The Academy offers a number of courses across KS4 and KS5, and the role therefore offers excellent career development opportunities.

The Academy benefits from its membership of the All Saints Multi Academy Trust, a unique Joint Faith Multi Academy Trust in Liverpool. The Trust has a proven track record in developing leaders and ensuring staff reach their full potential and career aspirations through a comprehensive programme of CPD and career progression opportunities. We are determined that the successful candidate will have:

  • A passion for ICT teaching
  • Reliable evidence of very good to outstanding teaching with a focus on raising student achievement at KS3, KS4 and KS5
  • A passion for making a difference for young people in the city of Liverpool
  • 2-3 days per week, negotiable depending on circumstance
