High Weald Academy is on an exciting journey and as part of that we are we are looking for a creative and inspiring teacher to deliver ICT and/or Computer Science as part of our core curriculum in key stage 3 with a view to growing the subject across all key stages.
Later this year we will be moving in to our state of the art new building which means that you will have the chance to set the highest expectations and standards in a brand new and purpose built learning environment.
You will have a proven record of raising attainment and accelerating progress. The length of your previous experience as a teacher is less important to us than your clear vision on what can be achieved for our students and how our teaching can motivate and inspire them to achieve great things. Our new colleague will have an unstinting belief that every young person, whatever their starting point can make and sustain exceptional progress and that our purpose is to change lives.
High Weald is a small, non-selective co-educational academy that serves the communities of Cranbrook, Staplehurst and the surrounding areas, where every student on roll is supported and challenged to reach their own personal excellence.

High Weald Academy is a small school serving a widespread rural area. There is a calm and orderly environment and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of academy life.
